About Me

My name is Olli Gluskin (she/they)

I came to birth work because of my long lived passion for supporting families through the life changing events of pregnancy and birth as well as loss and all the decisions that accompany reproductive health.  When I learned, in my early 20s, about the lack of such support in the medical care system of the United States, a spark ignited within me and I knew I had to be a part of the healing journey.  I care deeply about guiding pregnant people through the growth and advocacy required to have an empowering birthing experience.

I received training as a birth doula and in bereavement support through Birth Arts International (BAI) in 2021 and am member of the Spokane Professional Doula Association.

I received certification as a Placenta Encapsulation Specialist through Woman's Choice Perinatal Services and receive annual certification through Biologix in OSHA Bloodborne Pathogens for Placenta Encapsulation Professionals.

Trauma-informed care is important to me, and I completed a Trauma Informed Fundamentals workshop with Resilient Birth in 2021.

My passion for herbal medicine has led me to study the uses of herbs since 2010, and complete an Herbal Foundations course through Green Path Herb School in 2018. I also received a Bachelor of Science degree in Botany from Humboldt State University in 2017.

Currently serving clients in Spokane County, Washington, and the surrounding areas.  I am fully vaccinated.

My life is full of joy playing with my two young children and a sweet, rambunctious puppy.  I have also enjoyed working on organic veggie farms in the Inland Northwest since 2010.  Working hard and playing in the soil is my favorite kind of therapy.
