Postpartum Doula Services

Care to Warm, Nourish, Honor, and Support You

In the words of my teacher, Erika Davis,
"Birth is a moment, postpartum is forever."

Whether you are expecting your first baby, or another addition to your growing family, postpartum care is available to ease your transition.  In many cultures, the postpartum season is treated as a sacred time.  People who give birth are set up for rest, nourished, witnessed, and held.  I am here to help you honor this transition and support your needs.

My purpose is to meet your wherever you are at in your journey, to empower you as a parent, provide an empathetic listening ear, to care for your emotional needs as much as your physical and logistical needs.

My care is trauma-informed and inclusive.

I find it helpful to establish care before baby is born so we can create a postpartum plan together, however I am absolutely ready to jump in at any time in the first year postpartum.

Postpartum packages make a wonderful Gift!

Sun Circle Package - 15 Months of Support

$3,000 - divided into 10 monthly payments

This package is designed to care for you as you grow from your third trimester of pregnancy through the first anniversary of your child's birth.

During the last trimester of your pregnancy, we will meet once a month to connect about your journey so far, create a postpartum plan, and build a relationship.

After baby is born, I will check in with you in the first couple of days for a short visit to see how you are adjusting and address any concerns you may have about feeding your baby or yourself.  I will bring you food and tea.

During the 4th trimester, I will be with you twice a week for 4 hours at a time.  We will have the opportunity to process your birth experience, create time for a bath or pelvic steam, and facilitate your rest and recovery.  I will help with household tasks as described in the above section of "The care you will receive"

Months 4-8 we will meet twice a month for 4 hours at a time.  These visits will be tailored to your needs at the time, whether it is to prepare you to return to work, find the resources you are needing, or adjust to introducing solid foods to baby.  We can continue pelvic steaming/ bathing and begin to do some postpartum yoga.

Months 9-12 we will meet once a month, with virtual check ins as needed.  It is common for Postpartum Mood and Anxiety Disorders to heighten during this period of time.  For this reason, we will continue catering visits to your needs and processing your concerns so you can feel supported as you find your rhythm as a parent.

12 month closing ceremony to celebrate the anniversary of your baby's birth as well as close our time working together.  Getting to know you over the span of the year will help me create a unique ceremony for you.
